PROFIT  UNITY COMMUNICATION

Letter from Ena Williams
Senior Vice President
West U.S. and Canada Operations

Dear 7-Eleven Franchisees,

I want to share some really exciting news! 7-Eleven, Inc. is acquiring 26 Pacific Convenience & Fuels (PC&F) convenience and gasoline locations plus two PC&F vacant lots, and one or more of these stores are in your market.

This means that we are again growing our presence and the 7-Eleven® Brand in your area.  The benefits of this acquisition include:

More 7-Eleven stores available for franchise by qualified 7-Eleven franchisees who want to expand;

Greater efficiencies for our commissary, bakery and distribution infrastructure, and

More efficient use of advertising and marketing dollars.

The exact number of properties is subject to closing conditions, but currently the sites are located in California (15), Oregon (4), Washington (4) and Colorado (5).  The stores will continue to sell the Conoco-Phillips/76 gasoline brand.

We are meeting this week with affected PC&F store personnel to talk about 7-Eleven and to begin the application and employee-qualification process.  However, we plan to eventually franchise these outlets, and a few may convert to franchised 7-Eleven stores right after this deal closes on or about Oct. 28.

We hope you share our excitement in this growth opportunity as we further expand in your area.

Please feel free to contact your market manager or field consultant if you have questions.

Sincerely,

Ena Williams
